GLV Team 100 is a joint initiative of the East Penn and Western Lehigh Business Councils headed by EPBC board member Joe Farkas, Aspire Consulting, and is open to all Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber Members.

Over a one-year period, participants will select up to 100 other professionals for their "Teams". Networking and referral skill-building tips will be offered and referrals will start flowing among team members. Participants will be held accountable to each other to take action and results will be measured.

This program will kick off in November and will occur for 45 minutes prior to the East Penn and Western Lehigh monthly lunches the 3rd Wednesday of every month at Brookside Country Club. The program will be held over a one year period divided into quarters. $25 per quarter to cover the costs of participation.

Jim Sturm and his wife Margaret moved to the area in 1956 upon Jim's acceptance of an available position at Lehigh University and began his 39-year career there that fall. Together he and his wife began what became over the next decade a large family of seven children (alternating genders), and moved into what had been the Wassergass School just outside of Hellertown. This residence and its history attracted Jim’s interest in local civic activities which include the youth athletic programs, for which he was formerly a player agent for the Hellertown - Lower Saucon Little League; the Saucon Valley Community Center, the Saucon Valley Conservancy, and the Lower Saucon Township Histo
